Death Of A Daughter ~PRIVATE~

Massacre looked to Moonleaf's body, "Moonleaf..." sorrow laced his voice, "I wish I could have ran faster to save you." he dipped his nose to her body and nuzzled her face. "I'm so sorry." If Rain hadn't come, Moonleaf would be alive, Moonleaf would be able to live a happy life as a medicine cat.

But Rain had said that he was the father of Cotton, Massacre was keeping to his word and was going to explain everything. First he had to take these bodies back to their Clans. Moonleaf, ShadowClan. Rain, He'd bury himself. Massacre moved Rain's body into the trees and covered it so no predator would take it then Massacre rolled Moonleaf's body over on her stomach and he put her body on his shoulders.

And so Massacre made a long track to ShadowClan's camp.

OoC: Don't mind me, just making Massacre carry his dead daughter to ShadowClan, no tears over here. Nope.

Rain looked down as the cat next to him nodded. He saw Massacre. Massacre had his body and Moonleaf's. He buried Rain's body.
And then he went to Shadowclan.
"Thank you," Rain whispered.
No body had ever been nice to him. Until he died.

Moonleaf dipped her head. She understood that this tom had made many mistakes. "It's quite alright. Come. We must start your true training by following my father back to camp. When you see those whom my death affected the most, you will gain more understanding." She spoke before turning around and following Massacre.

"Doesn't Massacre see us?" the tom asked noticing his voice was bouncing off of everything.
He then realized that was probably a dumb question. He was dead. Of course Massacre couldn't see him. He was so stupid.
Rain stepped forward. It was so odd. He was walking downward but he wasn't actually on any ground. It was almost like swimming and flying and walking on air.

Moonleaf softly smiled at the large tom. "No, he does not see us. We are at the half-way point where we can see the dead and the live, but the latter cannot return the favor. Before we go see a sad sight, would you like to see your son become WindClan leader?" Moonleaf mewed. She thought it would be interesting to be a cat who gave a new leader a life- that is, if StarClan let her.

"But he wouldn't want me to. He hates me," Rain said sadly.
He did miss his son, though. Maybe it would be nice if Starclan would let him see Bumbleflight become Bumblestar. He could apologize in person that way.

Moonleaf glanced briefly to the toms eyes. How much he had changed in only a few moments. She supposed he owed that to death. And her kindness to him, but it was the least she could do since she had also taken his life.

"Whether he wants to see you or not is irrelevant. You'll be able to see his mother and if she shows that she forgives you than Bumbleflight will as well. Now, please follow me," She stated before continuing, "Where we are going it is dark so listen for my voice."

{Magical Time Skip: To Present Time}

Moonleaf gazed down onto Nightpaw with a small smile on her face. The apprentice was learning well and would become the medicine cat soon. She just wished she could've taught the young she-cat.

The black and white she-cat had been travelling all over the forest with Rain over the past few moons, teaching him the life of a warrior and giving him lessons on mistakes. StarClan knew he regretted almost everything he did and Moonleaf respected him for it. Only a few cats -even in death- could admit their wrong.

When she heard rustling behind her, Moonleaf turned her head to see Rain coming out from behind the bushes. She flicked the tip of her tail on his shoulder as she said, "Hey Rain."

"Hello," he said padding up.
He never knew death was so much better then life! His son had even forgiven him. Starclan had come close to accepting him, too.

"So... What else have we not talked about?" Moonleaf said. They'd talked about almost everything. From Twolegs to how stupid it was to go after a fox, so she didn't know what to talk about now.

"Well, is there anything after Starclan?" he paused dramaticly like he always did when he was alive, "I've heard that cats die after death. Is that true?"

Moonleaf's eyes became clouded with a certain mist. They widened as she realized what was happening, and it was something that hadn't happened since she was alive. A prophecy was coming to her.

Suddenly, they were both in the nursery at... WindClan? She saw a queen that she recognized as Smokepaw who had probably earned her warrior name by now, if she was pregnant. She seemed to be nuzzling with Bumblestar, who was also surprisingly there as well. Their tails' were intertwined and she smiled softly as she realized they were mates. Not even StarClan could've made such a perfect pairing.

Without notice, her lips started speaking in an ominous voice.

'There will be evil after evil, just as there will be good after good

Bad will mix with the pure and a hybrid will be created

But only after a kin dies, will they learn their lesson'

"Moonleaf...?" he asked.
He noticed her eyes glazed over and she stopped moving. Then when he looked deeper into her eyes he saw his son reflected.
"You okay...?"

Moonleaf's eyes snapped shut as she pushed herself away from the couple. "Moonleaf...? You okay....?" She heard and looked at the source.

"Something bad's about to happen, Rain," Moonleaf mewed. "And it starts with your grandchildren."

Ooc: I gtg :(

"Grandchildren?" he asked.
He always knew his life would mess up generations to come.

Moonleaf slowly shook her head, still slightly dazed from the experience. "Not in the way you would think. That grandchild will make a mistake on accident. You aren't the cause of it," She mewed to the large tom. She didn't want him feeling guilty. She's actually grown quite fond of Rain.

"Oh, but it is my fault," he replied.

OOC: I can imagine the scene at Stripekit's death.
"It's all my fault!" screeched Moonkit.
"It's not your fault, Moonkit! I was the one that didnt protect my own kits!" Bumblestar replied in hysteria.
"It's all my fault!" Rain yelled coming down from the stars, "I was the one who was a bad father to you, and that made you not know how to be a father!"
"It's not your fault, you didn't have a father to teach you how to be a father to teach me I be a father!" Bumblestar screamed in hysteria.

LOL.

Ooc: I am totally lost. BTW whenever Stripekit dies he'll be a warrior. I'm thinking his name will either be Stripeclaw or Stripefur.

Moonleaf sighed and pressed her flank against the tom's. She'd never done this before and she didn't think a cat ever did this with Rain, but he was in need of comfort right now.

"Stop blaming yourself. Your holding a grudge against yourself and those are never good, just as they do not end well." Moonleaf mewed.

"Whatever," he grunted trying to drop the subject.
"So is it Bumbletstar or Cotton?" He asked. He still didnt even know he was having grand kits.

Moonleaf slightly purred. She liked Bumblestar, but not in that way. Besides, she knew what they were going to name their middle she-cat. "Bumblestar. Smokewhisper's the mother." She mewed.

"Oh, that scrawny she-cat? She's no better then--" he cut himself off. "I mean, that's wonderful," he ended in a purr.

Moonleaf chuckled. "Smokewhisper was just protecting Stingpaw at the time. She's completely head over paws for him. She'll probably be one of the greatest queens the forest will ever see." She mewed to try and help make Rain's opinion on her more positive.

"She's half ThunderClan so she is quite fierce and isn't as scrawny as you would think. Would you like to go see their 3 kits?"

"Yes, more then anything."
He started following Moonleaf until they were in Windclan.
He looked down at his paws. He still only had one star. Why couldn't Starclan accept him? He wanted stars so badly.
